The Isle of Man Aviation Conference Strikes Again!

Technology, sustainability and governance: 3 key themes emerging from the 2022 Isle of Man Aviation Conference.

Organised by Martyn Fiddler Aviation and supported by the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry, the Conference returned after a two-year wait. Speakers and delegates from around the world came together to discuss and debate the challenges business aviation currently faces. Graham Williamson resumed his role as chairman for the third and final time, and led expert speakers and panelists through the packed agenda. From Richard Koe’s industry overview to Mary-Caitlin Ray’s eVTOL and transformative technology update, the Conference kept everyone interested.

Being a Conference well known for its friendliness, the importance of networking with industry colleagues was embraced with enthusiasm. Delegates looking to connect or re-connect with industry colleagues attended pre and post conference events culminating in a steam train ride to Port Erin, where the ‘Station Celebration’ awaited them. The picturesque seaside town is nestled in the stunning Southern Isle of Man countryside and delegates were invited to the Railway Station and Train Museum to help celebrate the Conference’s 10th anniversary in style. With a stunning selection of food and entertainment from the Chris Winchester Band (plus the multi-talented Simon Williams (DCA) on the sax), a fun evening was had by all.

The Martyn Fiddler Aviation team would love to say a huge thanks to everyone who sponsored, attended, and supported this year’s event. This was the perfect way to celebrate our 10th anniversary and build lasting relationships.

We will be releasing a date for next year’s conference shortly so do keep an eye on our conference website and follow  #iomaviationconference on LinkedIn for all the latest updates.
